A traditional modernised house, richly decorated inside with embroideries. the house is placed at the border of the village, far from road traffic noise. When you stay in the courtyard, you may hear the rivulet murmuring (it's flowing a few meters away), the roosters singing in the neighbouring farms and birds' chirping. The close fir tree forest is offering a clear and perfumed ozonned air.
The own farm of your hosts is the guaranty of the quality of the good fresh food you'll enjoy here, accompanied by the "horinca" of Maramures (double distilled plum brandy).

Access by car: from the crossroad with the street leading to the church in Poienile Izei, continue on the main road about 700m, then turn left on the third street counting from the crossroad (the street is opposite a huge white building). Continue on the street about 300m, crossing the rivulet. The house is the last before on the right side and it has a signing plate "Pensiunea LA IOANA DIN POIANA".
